I have had these chairs for about a year now with,a very busy family.They have held up nicely, but out of eight two have had under the leather a staple show(not break through)you can see a dump. But other than that very sturdy the leather still looks great.I would definately buy again.

My table came triple wrapped and triple taped, as if to protect it from the next world war. No worries, it'll make it through!
After reading other peoples reviews, I felt I should comment, because to me, I feel they were slightly misleading. There were several comments as to the length of time involved for setting up the table, drilled holes being mismatched...etc...etc.
I swear, the hardest, and longest part of the whole job, was getting all the parts unwrapped. The rest of it went together as it should, with no hassles. I am a women with a history in the construction trade, so Im starting out with a bit of an advantage. But I think my Mom, who is an all alround "girly-girl", could have finished the job without calling on me or my brother. One warning, getting that plastic off was the most damage this table will probably ever recieve!! That aggrevated me a bit.
Over all however, I would order it again if need be. I like the style, width, height, the fact the little stools totally fit uder it and over the cross beams of the table. It was a good buy. But I DO NOT have any advice on how to get all the plastic wrap off. I finally settled on sawing it with a kitchen knife, because it was thin enough to get into the wrap, with minimum contact with the variuos pieces of wood.

Winsome 94624 24" Swivel Barstool (set Of 2) - Walnut/black Review

Very fast shipping - delivered a week ahead of schedule.

Good packaging - arrived via FedEx a few days after order - boxes in great shape and packaged well.

Worksmanship - seems ok - the wood is stained evenly and the craftsmanship is average or above (especially for the money)

Appearance - great - the stools look great and are really quite sturdy (the splay of the legs is adequate for stability)- and the feel of the fabric/pvc is good - it doesn't feel plastic-y or slippery to sit on, but more leather-like to the touch. There isn't a load of cushion on the seat, but it's enough for comfort. The tone of the wood is lighter than in the picture, but I have mission red oak furniture, so this worked out to my advantage as it matches quite nicely. The stools are much bigger width-wise than they appear they would be in the stock photo and are quite comfy to sit on - you don't feel like you'll fall off like you sometimes do on the backless stools.

I've seen similar stools that don't swivel selling for much more elsewhere so it seemed like a good deal. All in all - this was a very good buy and I am pleased and impressed as usual :o)

7 Piece Dakota Dining Room Set Review

I received this set today, and assembled it all by myself.I'm a petite frame person so that's saying a lot.It was extremely easy to assemble.The workmanship is flawless.I've had harder times assembling desks and bookshelves!!! I am soooo pleased with this set, I can't even put it into words.This was my biggest purchase over the internet, so I really dove into this one.I don't think I could have found a better set if I'd gone to the furniture store and picked out something.It is an excellent value for the quality of the furniture.The finish is really a golden cherry, a little on the dark side if you're wondering.The upholstery isn't the prettiest, but you can change it easily. It's a weird color that seems to change everytime I look at it.Sometimes it looks gray, other times it looks like yellow and black mixed together.Nevertheless, I'm going to leave it for now, I might reupholster in the future.I don't think you will be disappointed with this set.Shipping was excellent also.It came sooner than I anticipated.Hopefully, I'm not the exception.I hope everyone can have the same amazing experience as I had.

Outdoor Patio Marlton 2009 Rectangle Wood Dining Table Review

We purchased this set in 2008 and within the first season it had split and warped very badly. EVERY chair has done the same, with whole sections of leg or armrest splitting off completely (6"+ sections). Most chairs are rendered unusable due to splitting, table has about a 3" warp on the top with many planks lifting. Hardware on several items has rusted badly.
We purchased the set through Target who have only a 90 days return policy. Items started deteriorating after that. We are out about $1800 for a set we can't use and can't return.
DO NOT purchase from this Marlton teak set, the quality was very very poor.

They are the perfect height for my high top table. They were easy to assemble, are sturdy and look great. We use these with a high top table for wine/appetizers, so I havnen't had any issues with smudges. Since they are made from wood, they will scratch, but not very easiy. The black paint/coating makes them very functional. When I bought them, I thought they would be a temporary solution for the room, but they have held up and look great - I've had them for over three years with no plans on replacing them. Great value for the price!

Desk Chair in Beige Microfiber Review

I bought these chairs as accent chairs for my living room. They match my living room furniture, look beautiful and fit perfectly in the space that I have for them. Delivery was quick and assembly was very easy. I only had to attach the legs. The upholstery on the back rest is slightly puckered but that may be necessary because of the curve of the back rest. The only con is that structure of the chairs seems lightweight. I expected the chairs to be sturdier and I am not sure that they will stand up to a lot of wear and tear. However, for my purposes, they are fine.

Retro Chrome Chairs Set Of 4 Review

These chairs are extremely hard to put together.If you are not mechanically inclined you should avoid purchasing them.The problem is that the bolts often don't line up with the predetermined bolt holes.This was such a problem with one chair that I had to drill a hole myself to assemble it.Be sure to check all the seats thoroughly before assembly since the top of one of my chairs had a very small cut (which I didn't discover until after I put it together). Once assembled though, the chairs are very sturdy and well padded.They are definitely worth the (quite reasonable) asking price and are great for persons with the patience to assemble them.

Delivery was a hassle!It took an extra 10 days beyond the original delivery date because the carrier "had no way to get in touch with" me.When it finally did arrive, the driver couldn't pull down the street in his bigrig.Fortunately, he was very kind and polite and hand-trucked the item to my door (over 150#) - a good 2 blocks.Set-up was straightforward with adequate instructions, and product is of decent quality and very solid.The picture truly represents the item.Full-size, no nicks or dents or scratches.Good finish on all parts, all hardware necessary.It took me about 3 hours to assemble completely, not time consuming or difficult, just lengthy.The chairs are extremely solid, but the windsor backs are very, VERY straight.A cushion on the seats should help some.Ovetrall I am very pleased - it fills my small eat-in kitchen nicely and is truly a fine piece to look at.Not beefy, but solid and appears to be well made.I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment with family and friends around this set.I would definitely recommend this product.It is much better than a basic or inexpensive starter set, but not quite as good as a really nice set.Highly functional and utilitarian.

SANTA FE DINING CHAIR Review

The chairs are well packed in heavy cardboard and foam. There is some kind of fiber on the parts but it wipes off.
Instructions are well illustrated, pictures only, no words. All parts are numbered with little removable stickers.
All hardware is included, even an allen wrench. The only other tool you should need is a phillips screwdriver.
One of the four chairs I assembled had a screw hole that was not drilled all the way through, which was easily remedied with a drill. The mortise and tenon side rails are held in place with wood screws. I stripped one, and happened to have a slightly longer one which worked. Otherwise a trip to the store may be necessary
Assembly should take about half an hour each, if all goes well.
In the Amazon illustration the chair appears slightly glossy, and the description says "hand wax finish." Mine appear to have only stain, and when I wipe them with a white cloth, the stain gets on the cloth. I think additional finish is required. The instructions say to visit [...] for care instructions, but I did not find any care instructions on their site.
The chairs seem sturdy and solid, and are comfortable.

I purchased two of these chairs as extras to supplement our higher quality pressback chairs. I have no complaints about the overall quality, which is good, but the image clearly indicates the use of oak. The fact is that the only backs are veneered in oak (which is fine), but every other element (seat, turnings, etc.) of the chair is beech, not oak. Had these other elements been real oak, I would have given these chairs a 4.

Cute, affordable, and comfortable, but I guess I was expecting them to be more like the original Eiffel Tower shell chair and have a glossy finish, which they don't. i bought two sets and had to return one because of a huge scratch in one chair out of the box (easy return, btw- thanks, Amazon).The replacement pair were more of a semi-gloss than the flat finish of the first set, plus had a big black mark on one that I had to scrub out, so the quality control is somewhat questionable.Nevertheless, I don't have any regrets, because I wasn't about to pay the price for the originals.

I bought these chairs because I liked the way they looked and the price was right.The chairs were packed very well, arrived undamaged and all the parts were included.They were pretty easy to assemble. My son and I put all four chairs together in about an hour.

The chairs look exactly like the picture except the seat appears to be a bit darker than pictured.Now here comes the problem.After all four chairs were assembled, I asked my son to sit down and let me know how the chair felt.Well, both of us are not large people, he is approximately 5'10" and 165# (I guess, I'm not too good at estimating a man's weight) and I'm about 5'3", 125#.His comment to me was that the chair was okay but not for siting for a long period of time.When I sat down in the chair I understood what he meant.The seat is very plush and comfortable but the back is too straight and the wood kept digging into my back.I had to move around to find a more comfortable position.I'm keeping the chairs for now but someday in the future, if I find a more comfortable and affordable alternative, I'll replace them.

LEM Piston Stool Chair-Black Leather Review

We like these a lot.

My wife suggested them and my initial reaction was to be a little skeptical, especially at the price. I was worried that the mechanicals would not be sturdy (we'll see about longevity- had them for several months and all is still OK), or that the chrome would be cheesey looking.[I hope they don't ever develop Chinese chrome rust spots].
It turns out that they seem to be just fine for our use. The pistons adjust to any height and hold, and also have a wide range of adjustment.

These are the only seats in our kitchen and are around our island in our tiny but beautiful informal house on the water. We have had several small dinner parties with these, and they have worked just fine for all sizes and shapes of people. We are small and short legged, but are open minded and count many tall people among our friends as well.

Be careful, however, if you try to add a stool to the group later. We ordered another pair from another vendor, figuring they probably all come out of the same container in Long Beach and move to various resellers around the country. Different seat material entirely (shiny plastic vs. matte finish fiberboard/plastic of these) and didn't match at all. Had to send them back.

We just received our set yesterday and put it together last night.It came packed very well and with no damage.It is a beautiful, well put together, timless piece.However, it is not the color we expected.The stain is a lot more red and darker than it looks online.It's pretty much a cherry finish.The cushions are a tan and sage green pattern with a little bit of gold.I thought they were just two shades of tan from the picture.Even though it isn't what we expected we really love the quality and look.It's a little on the masculine side and the size of the chairs are a bit intimidating.(At 5"5" when my back is to the back of the chair my feet don't touch the floor.)They are VERY comfortable though.Aside from the color differences, I would definately recommend this set.I can't believe we only paid $819.95 for it!A steal!
