Set of 2 Floral Fabric Dinning Parson Chairs Review

I ordered 4 Parson's chairs from Amazon. I believe The Furniture Cove Company is responsible for the production of the chairs. I am disappointed with the quality of work and will not ever buy anything from this company again. The following is a list of problems we encountered:

*there was no indication that the chairs had to be assembled by the buyer

*the pieces were very poorly machined

*there were several screws and bolts missing and one screw was the wrong size

*the metal bolts had splinters of metal sticking out which tore up fingers

Like my game chairs... I like the detailing on the legs.I did recover mine (which was very easy to do) only because I wanted them to match my furniture and they do look great.They are a little hard which would be my only complaint.

Carolina Cottage 271-AB Whitman Dining Chair in Antique Black Review

I just purchased 8 of these for my dining room and was surprised at the cost. They have an elegant shiny high-backed design, and truly are the work of master craftsmen. They are beautiful chairs, maybe the most beautiful, but I cannot help but think that there are better values out there.

Hillsdale Pompei 5-Piece Dining Set with Caster Chairs Review

These chairs broke at swivel/recline mechanism because there is only ONE weld and all the stress on the chair breaks that ONE weld. Company sent replacement parts and they broke within a year, AGAIN! These were adult owned, gently used, and only used 3 times a week! Only had for 2 1/2 years! I'm told by the company, that the parts are out of stock and unable to be ordered. I spent hundreds of dollars on what I thought would be really nice chairs, only to find that they're probably gonna have to be replaced already.
Plus, the glass top is held to the bottom by suction cups!!

I researched long and hard for this type of chair and ended up with a set of 6 of these.This chair is offered under a variety of different names depending on the website that you are searching.If you can find the model number you can search around for the best price.I found these to be cheapest by far at Amazon.So far, I am very happy with these chairs.They came within just a few days all in perfect condition and already put together - no assembly required.The leather is super soft and sturdy but does not have that strong smell of leather.The leather and legs are espresso or extremely dark brown.The legs look decent as well but may be a little thinner than some diners would prefer.Also, these chairs are very lightweight and easy to move around.

4D Concepts Nesting Table and Chair, PVC Weave Review

I ordered this item and was told that it was shipped and it would take 2 weeks. I waited three and started trying to find out what happened. The item was charged on my credit card but low and behold it was never shipped. After several phone calls and emails it was discovered this manufacturer is very unreliable and the company was not going to offer their stuff anymore. This left a bad taste in my mouth for ordering furniture on line. I still haven't gotten my refund. I am hoping to see some documentaion showing that it was indeed processed. Thanks butch

Linon Warwick Dining Chair Review

These are very nice chairs. They're sturdy and well-made. If there's MDF in them as the description says, I don't know where. They seem like solid wood to me. I've had mine for more than a year and they're perfect for kids. They don't scratch or dent and the finish is very easy to wipe clean. They are fairly white and the "rub through" isn't overly done. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I bought a set of 2 chairs for less than 1 is currently selling for. I'm not sure I'd pay $80 or more a piece for them...

Side Chair (Set of 2) in Cottage Oak - 5179-80-SET Review

We bought 6 of these chairs about 1 1/2 years ago.I had gotten a table on sale at Pier 1 and needed some chairs to match.I did a lot of searching and was even open to the look of mismatched chairs, but came across these and went for it.They actually look like they came with the table, which is just an added bonus.Like most furniture that comes in a box, they require some assembly.The back rests and legs have to be attached with an assortment of washers and spring washers and bolts.It takes some time if you're doing several, but it's not difficult.We have 4 young kids and these chairs have not had it too easy, but they are holding up really well.We have had one chair get slightly damaged when it was pushed over backwards and a piece of the veneer on the back of the top part of the backrest chipped off, revealing the light, unstained layer underneath.I had saved the piece to glue back on but just discovered it was thrown away.So, they are very durable, but not solid wood.But for the price we paid it doesn't matter.They look very nice and really could easily pass for a Pottery Barn chair.I would recommend these to anyone and just tell you to be careful about knocking them onto the floor!

Pistachio Solid Wood Chair - Set of 2 Review

I just received two sets of these chairs. Ordered them on Thursday night and received them the following Monday. No problem with damaged packaging. In fact they were packaged very well. They are much better quality than I thought they would be. They were very easy to put together. Just follow the directions just as they were written. The seat color is rich but not too dark. I only wish that this set was sold in the Target stores.I shopped around before placing my order to see if I could find this same set somewhere else but had no luck. Also bought the Pistachio Round Drop Leaf Table I should receive it in a few days.

Euro Style Shen Leather Chair, Set of 4 Review

The chair isn't natural leather as it has a label under the seat stating that it is "regenerated" leather, but I would have to say that it is pretty well made. The chair is pretty modern with a clean lines. However the shipping box was a bit flimsy and arrived damaged which Amazon quickly replaced in 2 business days. Unfortunately the second shipment also arrived damage, but I was able to swap out the undamaged chairs to get a complete set. Great customer service.

3 PIECE CHROME BAR TABLE SET - Table with Glass Top and 2 Chairs Review

I spent much more time trying to get the set out of the boxes than I did assembling it. The packing foam will make a mess so open it outside. It's low end / cheap quality but it does look impressive. A quality piece would be all welded together and would look more rust proof and scratch resistant. Chairs don't feel too stable. The table has adjustable height feet which is nice. I don't think this would be a good choice for daily use but hopefully I'm wrong. If it lasts a couple of years I'll be happy. I don't think I could have purchased anything better for $200 considering that high quality barstools start at $100 each and these were thrown in with the table.

7pc Traditional Style Brown Dining Room Table & Chair Set Review

I ordered this dining set at Visiondecor funiture. It came 1 week late. I had to pay an expensive shipping fee but got a cheap service-curbside drop off, that's why I couldn't inspect my order at the time I received my order. My set got 1 defective arm chair. This vendor is 100% dissatisfaction customer service. I called the customer servicemany times but no one answered the phone. I left a feedback on their webside and contacted them by email. They said they only could do something for the defective chair if and only if I remove my feedback. I'm not sure if they told the truth or they tried to trick me to remove my feedback. So I just left my feedback there and they did nothing for the defective chair. This order consumed much my time.I also ordered 1 other dining set at other furniture store. The set is heavier than the set I ordered at Visiondecor but the shipping fee was less and service including setting up, assembly and disposing boxes. I wil never order at Visiondecor again.

Berkline Oak Aaron Dining Chair Review

The chairs arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition.My son had no trouble putting them together.I thought the rungs that joined the legs together should have been cut on an angle to match the angle of the chair leg but they seem sturdy so far.They are comfortable for my 5 foot height.The seat isn't too long so that my legs are uncomfortable.I would recommend this company highly.

Set Of 2 Victorian Parson Chairs In Taupe Review

I suggested these to a client for a redesign job recently. She loved the photos, but was naturally skeptical. The price was literally "too good to be true". The chairs arrived in great condition and in good time. Assembly was a little tricky and a bit of basting stitch had to be administered to hide corner Velcro sufficiently, but very well worth it. The chairs sit much better than others at two-three times the price. The fabric is elegant and well made. The muted Victorian pattern is neither shiny nor fuzzy, but truly classic. The nailheads were well applied and in good straight rows. After the chairs were in place, we ended up basing the entire space on the elegance these fabulously inexpensive exuded.

Natural Finish Terracotta Tile Top Dining Table Review

The table looks great, and was delivered in perfect condition.I was worried about shipping several thousand miles, but the man who delivered the table said that it was packaged quite well.The outside box was torn, so we opened the box.Under the outside box were some thick layers of bubble wrap, then another box... so the inner box was unscratched, and the table was in showroom condtion.

DB Schenker, the main shipper, has a tracking website, and it said there was an "exception" in the delivery at one point in the tracking.I called and talked to a very articulate, and knowledgeable representative and she told me that meant shipping to an individual.

And finally, although the delivery was scheduled for Dec. 28th, it arrived Dec. 22nd.

Carolina Cottage Refectory Table, Natural Review

This table is one of my tip-top best Amazon bargains, of very high quality and sold elsewhere for well over $300. It shipped for only $3.49 in a matter of four days! I read every review I could find about the shipper Amazon designated, CEVA, and although a few were negative, I had amazing service from them. The huge package (87 pounds) was put exactly where I asked for it, not a single ding on the box. I called ahead to tell CEVA I would not be home. Their phone people were polite and helpful. They very cordially asked me to leave a signed note - no big deal - and they hauled it up an icy driveway, then up icy stairs. I am very pleased to get the item within four days. (Now, FedEx may not have done that and would have charged more!) The table is a well-designed, perfectly crafted piece of furniture, a super find. If Amazon offers it again, I highly recommend buying it, with no shipping concerns at all.

The major problem is that this 90 pound set of chairs is packaged in an ineffective flimsy carboard carton. As long as you verify that all parts have been delivered to you---and not spilled, lost or damaged from the split opened carton---you should be happy with this reasonably easy to assemble purchase.

Walker Edison 7-Piece Fancy Solid Wood Dining Set Review

This dining set had numerous defects in the manufacture and finish of the product.There were scratches and indentations on the finish of the set.The staining of the chairs was inconsistent, viz., there were dark areas of the espresso stain and light areas of the espresso stain.When I requested touch-up stain, to correct the discrepancies of the staining process, I received a magic marker Sharpie that did not match the espresso stain color applied to the dining set.I had to have one of the chairs replaced because the imbedded hardware needed to attach the various parts of the chair together were not inserted in the various pieces of the chair.I had a defective apron table piece, i.e., the piece had not been properly sanded prior to the staining process and the finish was "extremely rough".I was sent the wrong replacement apron piece and, to date, June 4, 2010, I am still waiting for the correct replacement part.Inasmuch that, I originally ordered this dining set on May 11, 2010, with all the problems with this product I am still waiting for the correct replacement part to put this product together.

Baxton Studio Glen Woven-Fabric Cream Dining Chair, Set of 2 Review

I would rate this product a 2 due to the quality and the assembly instructions, but since the color and style is hard to find at this price and is exactly what i was looking for, I gave it a 3.

The chairs come in a cloth cream color with grey flecks.I haven't seen anything like it. Fits great with the earthy theme and my walnut dining table. The assembly instructions were not very detailed. It was took awhile to assemble. The trick is the rounded side of the washer must be against the frame. I had it the other way when attaching the legs. The screw used to screw in the legs would not reach the legs. I almost returned the chairs because of this.

From a construction perspective, the legs are made of a cheap wood. I can already see some of the stain fading. When sitting on the chair, there isn't very much spring. It feels like if someone very heavy sat on the chair Or if you plop down on the chair hard they might fall through the chair.
I've had the chair for a month and haven't seen it happen. I also don't use it regularly. I will be careful not to be too rough when using these chairs.

I received the dining set & the table was damaged.The company offered me a refund of $100.00 if I returned the table (I would have to pay the shipping to send it back).The shipping amount was around $70 so I would only get back in reality $30.I couldn't possibly find a replacement table for that amount.I contacted the company again.They promised to send me a refund of $90 & to keep the table.I still have not received a refund nor have they returned any of my emails.I am very upset because I would have never spent the money if I would have known the company would not guarantee it.I will spend $10 & get a nice tablecloth to cover the dents in the table.:o(

The description say the materials are "hardwood and vinyl".The product's picture also shows the chairs with vinyl coverings.The chairs I received have some sort of medium brown fabric material (I don't know much about fabric types, but the fabric feels "velvety").However, they still look nice in my dining room.The table and chairs are well-made.Delivery took about 3 weeks, which was expected.

Umbra OH Chair, Go green Review

I love the Go chairs.I've purchased about 30 of them for different uses (dining table/conference rooms/waiting area), and the best thing about these chairs is that they're actually comfortable to sit in for an extended period of time.They're also durable.They're not like chairs from IKEA that last for 6 months.I've had a set of 4 light blue chairs for about 7 years now and they still look new.

My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that the black ones kind of "grab" dust and hold on to it, so it takes some attention to keep them looking clean.

Ordered this set on a Thursday - the chairs were delivered on Saturday.Quick delivery, GREAT set, the quality is something you would expect to find on a set that costs $1000.The chairs are comfortable and the assembly is super easy.The only drawback is its size - a little smaller than I expected, but that's only my fault because I didn't really look at the measurements.Perfect for smaller dining spaces like apartments.

2 Two Decorative Black Metal Dining Chairs With Padded Seats Review

I was disappointed in these chairs for the following reasons: 1) a piece on the bottom used to attached the chair to the frame was broken off which cost me $10.00 to have re-welded 2) 4 screws were missing which I was able to find at Ace 3) the seat measurements were not correct...much smaller than advertised. I will never buy this product or from this retailer again. The old story...you get what you pay for.

While the seller shipped this very quickly, the construction of the set itself is not very good.I am not an overweight person, but leaning back in the chairs even a little bit is a precarious exercise at best.One chair has already broken into two pieces when the back separated from the seat portion completely when I sat in it.The screws should screw into the seat portion from the back of the chair, but instead go in from the inside of the back legs, which is not very stable.I found this out the hard way as my rear end met with the floor when I should have been sitting in a chair.If I had the option to give zero stars I would, since I will be returning this item as soon as I can.

This isn't an easy review to write, but I'll be as fair as possible to the seller.I received my table and chairs in a timely manner and upon opening the table was disappointed to see that the table was broken.Upon calling, the seller immediately shipped us a new table.The chairs arrived fine and were easy to put together.Upon arrival of the second table, it was clear that it would also be broken.The packaging was just not ideal for this table.Also, the table should be shipped flat if they are going to package it that way and it was obvious that it was shipped on it's side.I again called and asked for a refund of the table.The seller insisted that he be given another chance.So, we received the third table in a timely manner and unfortunately it was broken just like the last two.I received a call just today and he said that he will be refunding me for the table.Again, while I've never received a "workable" table, the seller was easy to deal it.

3 Piece Dining Set By Coaster Furniture Review

This table and chairs is worth every penny. Not only does it fit in a small space but it is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the chairs need a lot of man power on a manual screw driver unless you use a machine screw driver then it's a lot easier. But the three piece dining set is beautiful. And I am glad i purchased it. It is very light in weight but sturdy enough to hold over 300 lbs. per chair. The only other problem is that it is hard to unravel the items out of the package because they package it so much and so tight.
