Be Warned, this table does not come assembled unless otherwise stated from the company you buy it from!Setup was straight forward and simple.4 chairs come in 5 pieces each and will take some time to put each together.Table also comes in 5 pieces, 4 legs and table top, very straight forward.

The table is shorter then your average dining set. So keep that in mind when purchasing.

Pros:
Overall packaging is great, comes in 3 packages, 2 chairs per box, and the table top.
Table is built extremely sturdy, heavy solid wood.Each leg is attached by 2 long screws with lock washers.
Chairs are extremely comfortable. It cradles your back. Cons:
Be careful who you buy from, delivery can take weeks.It took me 47 days to receive mine from the third party I bought it from on amazon's site.
Table is Shorter in height then I thought
The chair assembly actually takes a really long time and is pretty labor intensive.There are at least 30 screws per chair. Most use allen wrench/hex key tool provided.2 are in a very tight angled spot, the screws are long, and will be very tedious to screw in with this method which adds to the time.Then 5 screws per chair are normal Philips head. 3 for cushion top and 2 for the bottom wooden piece that attached to the back( these holes are not drilled for you so you have to use the self tapping screws provided.In addition there are some wooden support piece you must hammer in which holds the chair up and together until you get the main mounting screws in.
The boxes and table are heavy in the packaging, so make sure you have help.

Overall an easy self assembly.I am happy with the dining set.Very good quality although there were some inconsistencies with the finish, rough spots etc.

The chairs arrived all together. We only had to take off the plastic. Looking over the chairs they could of used better wooden legs. One of the chairs had a chunk of wood chipped out but they painted over so it blends in. Over all they are decent for the price.

Retro Style Chairs Set Of 4 Review

These chairs are overall not bad for the price.They come unassembled, which is totally fine as it's real easy to put together.The chairs are a tiny bit wobbly, but i think that they just need to settle in a bit as we have just assembled them.They look great, especially with a retro style kitchen table.The directions cracked me up though.Made in Taiwan, the directions only state:"To request attention: all screws don't first lock to tighten, until back cushion to lock tight after that, this chair all screws lock to tighten then success".
So basically make sure the back cushion is tight before tightening the rest and THEN success.Success indeed.

Natural Spindle Windsor Chair-Set of 2 Review

One of the chairs had two spindles loose on the back.On examination, I found that they hadn't even been cut long enough to reach the sockets into which they were supposed to have been glued!

The other one had a gouge in the seat top.You see, they were shipped loose, with basically no protective padding whatsoever -- just taped together, seat top-to-seat top -- free to flop around inside their large, thin-walled cardboard box.

Lesson learned: DON'T BUY FURNITURE MAIL-ORDER!

Amazon, OTOH, was great about processing the return, and refunded me the outrageous return shipping back to Target.

We were hesitant to purchase this table and chairs; however, once the set arrived, we were happy with the quality.I understand this was not a $2500 set, but it is obvious to us we got more than our money's worth.The table and the chairs were easy to assemble, but it did take approximately 90 minutes to do so.The table and chairs are real wood, and only the block and bracing material under the table itself is particle board.

For a table and chair set to be used every day in the breakfast nook, in an informal setting, this was an outstanding purchase that represents good looks, sturdy fit and finish, and a good overall value.

If this same set came from a store and already assembled for you, it would cost several hundred dollars more than what you'll pay here.

Quality of the chair is great. Very sturdy and nice build quality for the price. The finish is also very nice, however, it is not the advertised color. I asked 6 different people in my office, we tried with the lights off, on, with incandescent vs. florescent. These chairs are black under normal home or office lighting conditions, not warm brown. It looks like they put 10 coats of very very dark brown resulting in near black. Under the chair on the overspray where the paint is thin there is just the faintest hint of a brown color. Only after close inspection outside in bright direct sunlight with my black suit pant leg extended for comparison could I kind of see a brown color. At a distance under any light they look black, like nice chairs in a Chinese restaurant. Make sure these dark chairs will fit your décor before you order them.

7pc Queen Anne Style Cherry Finish Dining Table & Chair Set Review

Recieved today. Overall I think it's quite pretty. The table was easy to assemble as were the chairs that were manufactured properly. Two of the six chairs had the holes for the screws about an 1/8th of an inch off so we're going to have to fix that. Also some very minor damage to the wood but it's barely noticable. Overall I'm happy with this set.

I have slightly wider than standard dining room chairs and wanted chair covers to protect them since I was expecting a baby.The fact that these were stretch pique seemed ideal.And it did work well to fit these chairs.However the material slips and slides and stretches more than needed on the chairs.When we sit in these chairs, we always have to readjust the chair covers afterwards to make sure the corners are moved back into place (they stretch downward or shift across the chair seat).They work for what I bought them for, but I wish they would stay in place better.

The seats of the chair are very light colored white, so I have left the tight fitting thin plastic on for protection.I found beautiful white placemats to complement the dining set while protecting the chairs.

Dining Chair Set of 4 - Black Review

I bought two sets of these chairs about 4 months ago. First of all, they came in the box damaged and ripped. I immediately returned one set and kept the second in order to have something to sit on. They were damaged upon arrival and they began to fall apart even more as soon as I took them out of the box. Pieces fell off and the fabric ripped with gentle use. These chairs were a waste of money.
I tried getting a refund by the manufacturer Walker Edison but the customer service there kept pushing me off and were completely unhelpful.
The chairs are made of the cheapest materials and do not last whatsoever. (Not to mention the fact that my child was scratched very badly on a sharp piece of plastic that protruded from one of the cheap plastic pieces on it. I would not recommend this product or any other product from Walker Edison furniture.

Long ago, we had purchased our dinette set from a furniture discounter.After many card parties, dinner parties, game nights, and double-occupancies (couples sitting on each others' laps, etc.) the chairs collapsed one by one not to be saved by our several Gorilla Glue attempts.

The table is still in excellent condition so our only option was to find chairs in the same stain and since we still had one-and-a-half good chairs out of the set we wanted to match the same arrow back style.We'd searched bricks and mortar locations high and low to no avail.Finally, I did a search with the parameters that we needed (arrow back, natural oak) and we found exactly what we needed!!!

The price was a steal, and the shipping was timely!(Just in time for another of my husband's poker parties!)Assembly for the four chairs was simple enough and completed by the two of us in just about an hour.

Our expectations are realistic, these, too, won't last forever, but they matched our two remaining chairs almost perfectly and they should last us a few more years of card parties, game nights, dinner parties and (newly added to our lifestyle) kid-climbing, standing, and booster-chairing it!

Bottom line...Great value for the money, but don't expect them to last a lifetime, or to hold your 400 pound friend for any longer than a few sittings.

7pc Contemporary Cappuccino Finish Wood Dining Table & Chair Set Review

When I received this set the first thing I noticed is that its color is WENGE instead of CAPPUCCINO.it was written on the boxes.And wenge is a color light yellowish brown and black strikes on it.When I opened the boxes I also noticed table top part was defective.I contacted the seller,
they said they have only one color they sell,it was this.And they filed a claim to shipping company .It is refused. Now,I want a replacement table top and they try to sell me for it $ 80 + $ 75 shipping = $150 .
Their packaging insufficient to support furniture,it was flimsy.
They try to make money out of their defective products.
Two months later,they say they would refund my money. They are asking me to pay the shipment for return as well. Is this fair?

Set of 2 Antique Style Black Finish Wood Dining Chairs Review

I purchased a table from a well recognized furnishing store (initials PB) and these chairs are almost identical to the upholstered chairs they sell with the table.. but much cheaper. I'm saving over $1200 going with these alternative chairs since I needed eight chairs (four sets). Very easy to assemble (just have to connect front chair legs to seat and seat to chair back)... I put these together with out any help from my husband. The only thing to be aware of is the picture above is a little different from the actual chair I received. The seat bottom is an upholstered tan microsuede and the chair seat does not have a 'weathered style' on the sides. I contacted Vision Decor re: this after opening the box and they were very prompt in returning my message, asked for a photo of the seat I received, and after researching informed me the manufacturer changed the seat without notifying them. Vision Decor offered to give me a complete refund if I wanted to return the chairs but I turned their offer down since the chairs are nice how they are and if I want to change the fabric I can have them re-upholstered and still save 50% of what I would have paid at the other store.The chairs are very sturdy (unlike some alternatives I've seen @ other stores) and comfortable.. plus you can't beat the savings!

These covers work great but you can't use them by tying them.You need to remove the seat of your chair.This is simple, it will either pull up or just loosen the screws that hold it on.First cut off those annoying ties.Then just like a gift, wrap the seat and staple it into the bottom of the seat.You must use a utility (heavy duty) stapler.After stapling the first side, pull the opposite side very taut and staple.Continue for all four sides.Its a little extra work but it looks much better and the cover lasts for a long while.I'm just replacing mine now after 2 1/2 years. It really is simple, I'm a real klutz and not handy at all and I can do it.I recommend it to all people with cloth seats and young children.
